Root LU, Switzerland – 4 November 2025 – HOCHDORF Swiss Nutrition Ltd (HSN), a leading specialist in milk powder processing, baby food and nutritional supplements, today announced the appointment of Sandro Tichelli as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 January 2026.
Tichelli, 44, brings extensive experience in the food industry to HOCHDORF. He has held senior management positions at Danone in Switzerland and Germany and was most recently Country Manager of Danone Switzerland AG and a member of the DACH Executive Board. He was born in Lucerne and holds degrees in management from the University of St. Gallen HSG and the University of Lausanne. AS Equity Partners as investor and the Board of Directors are confident that his proven track record and passion will make him a great addition to HOCHDORF.

Tichelli succeeds Ralph Siegl, who has served as Chief Executive Officer of HSN since 2022. The Board of Directors of HSN expressed its gratitude to Ralph Siegl for his leadership in successfully navigating HOCHDORF through the spin-off from its parent company and sale to AS Equity Partners in 2024.
The Board of Directors stated: "Following the completion of this transition phase, we want to lead HOCHDORF to renewed international growth. We are confident that Sandro Tichelli, with his dynamic personality, extensive management experience and deep understanding of the international food market, is the ideal CEO to achieve this."Oliver Banz will lead HSN on an interim basis until Tichelli takes up his position.
Oliver Banz is a partner and head of portfolio management at AS Equity Partners. He was a lawyer, management consultant at McKinsey and has held various senior management positions at banks and companies.
HOCHDORF SwissNutrition Ltd specialises in the processing of milk products for infants and young children, as well as other milk powder products and nutritional supplements. Its portfolio includes well-known brands such as Bimbosan.
