Our milk and whey
We purchase exclusively from Swiss dairy farmers and milk processors.
The milk processed by HOCHDORF either comes directly from Swiss farms or is sourced via recognized milk trading organizations - exclusively from Switzerland. Our milk meets at least the Suisse Garantie standard. In addition, 100% of the milk supplied to HOCHDORF meets the requirements of swissmilk green.
Whey, from which we obtain many other valuable substances in addition to protein in highly complex processes, is produced in the production of cheese. We obtain the whey we process exclusively from Swiss cheese makers and therefore from regional milk processors.
When it comes to quality, animal welfare and sustainability, we make no compromises at HOCHDORF.
