Responsibility with clear objectives

Our products are made from Swiss raw materials. For our customers, “Swissness” is a decisive sign of quality. They expect our key criteria: maximum sustainability in all process phases and careful use of resources — from farm to delivery.

In 2020, HOCHDORF adopted targets for three core areas: Nature, Technology, People. These goals should be achieved by 2030 at the latest.

Technology

Powder and roller drying is energy-intensive due to the high required temperatures of over 200 degrees. Alternative energy sources can only be used to a limited extent, as the necessary temperatures cannot be achieved with geothermal or solar energy, for example. By using innovative technologies, HOCHDORF is actively contributing to reducing energy consumption and thus CO₂ and greenhouse gases.

Nature

Milk, whey and other natural raw materials, particularly from Swiss agriculture, are essential components of our products.

Preserving nature through sustainable management is therefore very important to us. When deciding where we source our raw materials from, their demonstrably sustainable production is a decisive criterion.

Our milk therefore meets at least the standard Suisse Garantie. Since 2024, we have only used milk from farms to produce our baby food that meets all criteria of Swissmilk green fulfill.
