HOCHDORF to sell Marbacher Ölmühle

HOCHDORF Group Press Release: Sale of Marbacher Ölmühle GmbH

Hochdorf, 18 December 2020 – HOCHDORF is to sell Marbacher Ölmühle GmbH to a German family office company focusing on long-term commitment in the organic food industry. The sale is motivated by the company’s strategic focus on its Baby Care and Dairy Ingredients divisions and will go ahead on 30.12.2020.

HOCHDORF Holding Ltd acquired Marbacher Ölmühle GmbH on 1 December 2014 as part of its move to strengthen the VIOGERM® wheat germ business internationally. With the discontinuation of the Cereals & Ingredients division, the company lost strategic importance for the HOCHDORF Group.

Sale completes strategic realignment
The sale of Marbacher Ölmühle GmbH completes the streamlining of the HOCHDORF Group portfolio of companies as part of its strategic realignment. HOCHDORF will thus focus entirely on its Baby Care and Dairy Ingredients divisions from the beginning of 2021. “We are proud to have found a strategic investor who can positively influence the further development of Marbacher Ölmühle GmbH,” says Dr. Peter Pfeilschifter, HOCHDORF Group CEO.
